Highlands Ranch Photo Club Meeting

DeDe welcomed everyone to the meeting. Meetings are held at the Highlands Ranch Library the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Several guests were welcomed to the group for the first time.
Dale reminded club members that the Lone Tree Photographic Art Show and Sale will take place April 15 to May 5 at the Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel, 9808 Sunningdale Blvd., Lone Tree, CO 80124. Some club members' photos were accepted for the show. Everyone is invited to see the photos on display.
Show-and-Tell
Featuring comments by Meg Dalton
Club members had the opportunity at this meeting to bring several photographs to share with the group. Meg Dalton graciously accepted our invitation to provide comments and suggestions on strengths and possible improvements for the photos we brought.
A wide variety of photos was shared, covering a range of topics, locations and techniques. Photos included foreign shores -- Mexico, Paris, Thailand and India. There were also photos taken closer to home, including a number of landscapes and people shots.
As always, it was great to be inspired with new ideas and locations for our next photo shoots. We offer many thanks to Meg for serving as moderator and helping us understand what "works" in effective photographs.
Notes for Next Meeting
The May 8 meeting will be a presentation from a South African safari.
